The International Multidisciplinary Research Network on the Challenges and Uses of Information and Communication Technologies (EUTIC),  has the pleasure to announce the 14th<\/sup> edition of its Annual EUTIC International Conference, which will be held on 17th<\/sup>-19th<\/sup> October 2018 in Bordeaux (France) <\/strong>and will be organized by MICA- ICIN, Universit\u00e9 Bordeaux Montaigne.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call for papers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The principle of change is a key asset in the development policies that the human societies has to implement to face the massive undergoing transformations occurring in this century. All organizations, whether for-profit or not, have to adapt by anticipating the evolution of their environments of competitiveness. They need flexibility et agility. This last feature, formally used to qualify aspects of computering performances, is now applied to the institution as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making agility a strategic priority is an innovative mindset which aims to create values at many levels: quality and efficiency of production \u2013 enhancement of the image vehiculated, relevance of information by multiple sources. In this context, the digital technologies have a decisive role to play: it seems quite obvious now that as well information, its dissemination and managing systems and its implementation techniques, take a decisive part in all sectors of activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EUTIC 2018 will be an opportunity to renew the question of the relevance of ICT uses in this perspective of adaptability of the informational systems, which in the long term, may increase the chances of success in a world getting more and more complex. We will especially examine in this conference the role of information and communication systems in different contexts subject to social, economic, structural and functional changes. In an agile environment, taking into account of the expectations and needs of users must forestall the anticipation of the use of a product, a service or a system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several themes will be discussed (treated) through lectures, papers, and round tables discussions: (non-exhaustive list)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Territorially smart uses of digital technologies (round table)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Training for digital uses and dynamics of development (round table)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Socio-economic changes and collective intelligence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Interculturality and digital ecosystems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Connected objects, augmented reality, transhumanism<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Learning systems in the 21st<\/sup> century<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 User-centred design, prospecting for expectations and needs, UX-Design and HMI<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Outsourcing of resources, cloud computing, open data, open archives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expected contributions will be in concern with the challenges and uses of digital technologies and the added-value that they can bring to development dynamics. For the submissions of papers, the Scientific Committee will ensure that in content proposed by the authors, the theoretical and empirical contributions are carefully articulated and presented in a rigorously established methodology. The lectures, round table discussions and posters   will be in the same concern of quality and will provide a wide variety of approches to the topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This international conference seeks the participation of academia, pratictioners and policy makers concerned with issues related to the impact of ICT on the strategies for changes. We hope the richness and the diversity of the contributions will provide a key forum to enlarge the perspectives of researchers, decision makers and field workers. It aims to be an opportunity to engage new international cooperations by taking part in the scientific and research enhancement policy of the New Aquitaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
